Hi everyone! I'm new to this community and crochet, and I have a question about fingerless gloves.

I'm making a set of simple, sc gloves for a friend of mine, and I'm wondering about blocking. The test pair I made looks pretty good without blocking, but there are a few places where I ended up with some uneven stitches. The pattern has a stripe going up the side, and when I sew the two sides together, I keep ending up with these little holes in the stitching.

So I'm wondering if blocking could help with this? I've never blocked anything before, but I thought I'd try, since these are a gift. But I'm wondering if I should block them before I sew them up? Or should I try to sew them up, then block them over a cylindrical thingy? I don't know how it works, so any advice would be helpful.

I'm using two yarns, one's an acrylic/merino wool blend, and the other is an acrylic/bamboo blend. I have no idea if that matters, but I thought I'd include it just in case.

A long while ago (I think it might have been April?), there was a kink prompt post where people would write down (anonymously) their kink and others would write down a short drabble on that said kink. I also vaguely seem to remember an archive being made of all the written, and unwritten kinks. I've looked, but I can't seem to find it again for the life of me - is it possible for someone to link me to the original post or archive?

And I also just want to say that this community is amazing and I can't wait for the SPlosion that will surely come after tomorrow's episode!
